​Bayt al-Hikma strengthens its institutional and cultural partnerships with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Culture.

​Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt al-Hikma, received on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in his office, Dr. Hamid Al-Ghizzi, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, and Dr. Qasim Tahir Al-Sudani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities for Technical Affairs. During the visit, they offered their congratulations on his assumption of the presidency of Bayt al-Hikma's administration, wishing him success in performing his responsibilities and emphasizing the importance of enhancing mutual cooperation and opening new horizons for cultural, intellectual, and knowledge-based work.

​During the meeting, the attendees discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Bayt al-Hikma, and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities. They deliberated on several cultural, intellectual, and research topics, as well as the possibility of launching joint initiatives, events, and programs. These efforts aim to support state institutions with specialized expertise and studies, enhance the presence of Iraqi cultural and intellectual institutions, support intellectual and knowledge production in Iraq, strengthen communication and coordination between government entities and academic and cultural circles, and utilize available expertise and capabilities across various bodies to serve the public interest and support the scientific progression of institutional work in Iraq.
