Bayt al-Hikma and Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Discuss Prospects for Scientific Cooperation

On Sunday, July 12, 2026, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt al-Hikma, Dr. Naeem Abd Yasser al-Aboudi, received in his office the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif al-Zubaidi, and his accompanying delegation. The delegation included: Dr. Hassan Abd, Dean of the Technical Institute in Najaf; Dr. Bashar Jabbar Hamza, Dean of the Higher Institute of Nanotechnology; Dr. Atheer Kadhim Abadi, Dean of the Technical Institute in Kufa; and Dr. Fares Muhammad Ali, Dean of the College of Medical Rehabilitation Techniques and Prosthetics. The visit was on the occasion of Dr. al-Aboudi assuming his duties as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt al-Hikma.

Dr. Naeem al-Aboudi welcomed the well-wishers, expressing his gratitude and appreciation for the visit. He emphasized the necessity of strengthening scientific cooperation between Iraqi universities and research centers, reviewing scientific and cultural plans and ideas to participate in seminars and conferences held at Bayt al-Hikma, given its role as an Iraqi scientific and cultural gateway working to highlight Iraqi creativity across various scientific fields.
