The Chairman of the Board of Trustees Meets with Members of the Advisory Team for the Department of Islamic Studies

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt al-Hikma, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi, met on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, with the members of the Advisory Team for the Department of Islamic Studies during their regular meeting. The session was dedicated to discussing a number of scientific and intellectual issues related to the department's future plans and programs, its annual scientific conference, and mechanisms to develop its research activity in line with intellectual and societal challenges.

The meeting addressed ongoing preparations for holding the Tenth Annual Scientific Conference organized by the department under the slogan (Towards an Authentic Islamic Approach to Facing Contemporary Challenges), scheduled to take place in early October. Members of the advisory team presented the preparation stages of the conference to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, along with ways to offer scientific solutions grounded in the values of moderation, solidarity, and societal responsibility.

The meeting featured a discussion on the department's scientific plan for the upcoming period, as well as ways to develop specialized seminars, conferences, and research. This aims to enhance the active presence of Bayt al-Hikma as a leading intellectual institution contributing to the enrichment of the country's cultural and scientific landscape, while reinforcing cognitive dialogue across various disciplines.

For his part, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi emphasized during the meeting the importance of strengthening Bayt al-Hikma's scientific role in delivering sound visions and studies that contribute to addressing national and societal issues. He stressed the necessity of leveraging academic research to serve society and enhancing cooperation among researchers and experts to produce scientific outputs that support decision-making and keep pace with current developments.

In conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the advisory team members, calling for the continuation of communication and coordination to ensure the success of scientific programs and the achievement of Bayt al-Hikma's strategic goals.
